About the author
René Noël, born in 1973 in Osnabruck, Lower Saxony. Has been working on various topics relating to industrial safety since 2005. As a certified advisor for personal protective equipment and as an expert in fall protection, he has been working full-time on the topic of Lockout/Tagout since 2013.

He has developed various procedures for service solutions in the emergence of Lockout/Tagout systems, such as the step-by-step model or the industrial maintenance programme. He has also published several technical articles on the subject of Lockout/Tagout, e.g. "Lockout/Tagout more than a lock" that appeared in several trade magazines.
